Our Vietri Ceramic: 2 centuries of history

Few of you probably know that our Masters Potters, the D'arienzo brothers, handed down the art of ceramics, from father to son, dirtying their hands and face of color already by 6 Generations.
 
This allows us to offer a product that has its origins in the absolute tradition of Vietri ceramics, which feeds of the most oldest secrets, but thanks to the latest generation, it is renewed every day.
 
Ceramics are Made 100% by hand, according to the old tradition of Vietri sul Mare, from the founder Vincenzo (born in 1804), followed by his son Natale (born in 1836) and still, by his son Vincenzo (1870). But the real turning point for the family and for the same history of art of pottery from Vietri arrives with Natale D'Arienzo, who was born in Vietri sul Mare in 1912.
 
Natale realizes, soon, that the ceramics, is for him an art, but especially an expression of life, of his soul, so as to bring it to direct a ceramics school in Salerno and produce, for King Umberto II of Savoy and his wife Maria Jose of Belgium, their tableware service.
 
Natale opens its Art Workshop and he make innovative designs and he has an his way of producing ceramics, in addition to making a deep study on the bases and colors: the light blue of the clear sky of Amalfi, the deep blue of the sea, golden orange of the citrus of the Coast, the bright green of the woods and the typical yellow of Vietri.
 
Today, in the factory, there are the great-grandchildren Marino and Umberto D'Arienzo who, with great dedication and inspiring from  the innovator-grandfathers Natale, they continue to play the same principles and traditions of the past, convinced that the passion, enthusiasm and professionalism are the added value of their art, their pottery, the real Made in Italy.
