Tajani's alarm: "Vietri ceramics risks unfair competition"

"Vietri potteries are one of the sectors most at risk of unfair competition, together with steel and the bicycle sector". This is what the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani said, answering the question of a journalist who asked him for more protection regarding the Vietri ceramists. "We are fighting - he added - to defend European industry from unfair competition that comes mainly from China. A few weeks ago, the European Parliament approved a text that strengthens anti-dumping actions against those arriving from other parts of the world ". Tajani then concluded by saying that "if you play the game on the level of quality, there is almost the certainty of winning". «Vietri ceramics - he concluded - are qualities, not only in Italy and in Europe, but in the world».
